Adding a Notion Page

1. From your knowledge base, navigate to “Upload & Index” → “Data Sources”.
2. Select “+ Data Sources”.
3. Choose the Notion option to connect a Notion page or database.

Configuration Steps

1. Name Your Data Source

Assign a meaningful name to this data source. This name will help you easily identify the purpose or nature of the link within your knowledge base.

2. Provide the ID

To connect your Notion page or database, you need to retrieve the ID. Follow the steps below:

Locate the Page ID:

1. Open the desired Notion page.

2. Click on the “Share” option located in the top-right corner of the page and select “Copy Link”.

3. Paste the copied URL into a text editor or browser address bar

4. The Page ID is the 32-character alphanumeric string found the in URL. For example: https://www.notion.so/workspace-name/Page-Title-**xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx**?pvs=4

Locate the Database ID:

1. Open the desired Notion database.

2. Click on the “Share” option in the top-right corner of the database and select “Copy Link to [Your Database]”.

3. Provide the Integration Token

To connect your Notion page or database, you need to obtain an Integration Token. You must be a workspace owner to complete this process. Follow the steps below:

Set Up an International Integration Token

1. Go to the integration’s settings page.

2. On the My Integrations page, click on the “New Integration” button to create a new integration.

3. Once the integration is created, you can update its settings as needed under the Configuration tab and retrieve the integration token in this tab.

4. Locate the Integration Token (also referred to as “Internal Integration Secret”) in the Configuration tab of the integration’s settings.

Tips:

• If the provided Notion Page ID contains links to other Notion pages, Ragdoll AI will automatically follow those links and retrieve the linked pages for indexing.
• Make sure the page or database permissions allow access to your integration. Sharing settings must be configured properly for the content to be indexed.
• If needed, contact your workspace admin for guidance on sharing and permissions.
